Also known as the “Sweet Science,” classic boxing is a great self-defense program that utilizes proper body mechanics, including footwork, core mobility, and blazing hand speed. Not only is the class practical for self-defense purposes, but it is also a tremendous workout. You will end up in a puddle of sweat and love every minute of it! Taught by Elite MMA instructors, this class is geared toward any skill level.
WHAT CAN I EXPECT IN CLASS?
The first half of this class is devoted to drills and technique practice to improve footwork, offense, and defense. The second half gives the student the opportunity to apply what they’ve learned in a scaled way that allows the student to flourish regardless of skill level. The student is guided through the sparring session, which allows fast progression. In other words, you are not going to be fed to the lions and have your head pounded in. Our Houston instructors will help you to progress at your own speed. Our boxing classes are available for men and women, and we also offer a kids’ boxing program at Elite MMA.
