Elite MMA provides youth MMA programs, including private lessons to help your child improve their technique, stay fit, and have fun in the process of practicing mixed martial arts.
Whether your child needs to be prepared for the neighborhood bully, wants to be a world class champion someday, or is simply interested in learning martial arts of some kind, mixed martial art is a great way to reach for those goals. MMA helps youth keep fit and active while also giving them the confidence that comes from being able to defend themselves. Also, martial arts in general contribute to mental and leadership development.
Private youth lessons take place on a one-on-one basis, which allows the instructor to assess your child’s abilities and provide specific instruction to help them improve their technique. In the course of these lessons, your child’s instructor will be focused on their progress alone, ensuring more growth than they’d find in attending a group class only.
We recommend using private lessons as a way to solidify the technical instruction given in our beginner and advanced classes. While in one setting they get a chance to see techniques performed and practice with others in a friendly, safe environment, in a private setting the teacher is able to focus on the specifics of how your child can improve individually. This makes progress much more attainable as your child gets exactly the support they need.
To get started with enrolling your child in private classes, contact us to set up an appointment. Private lessons are appointment based, and if you need to reschedule or cancel for any reason, we ask that you give us a call at least 24 hours in advance. Otherwise, payment for the lesson is forfeited.
